Terms of use
These terms cover the LetKiddo app and this website. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, delete the app.
Who you are dealing with
LetKiddo is published by [Publisher], established in [Country]. Contact: hello@letkiddo.app.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own household. The licence lasts as long as you keep the app installed.
What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or its artwork, sounds and text.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law says you may despite this clause.
- Remove or alter any notice of ownership in the app or its files.
What the app is for
It is a picture list that helps a child work through a routine. It is not supervision, it does not monitor anyone, and it makes no claim about a child's development, behaviour or health. A grown-up stays responsible for the child and for what goes on the lists.
Your content
Names, chores and pictures you add stay yours and stay on your device. We never receive them, so we cannot restore, moderate or hand them back. Keeping a device backup is the only way to survive a lost or wiped device.
Changes to the app
Features may be added, changed or removed in later versions. A feature you rely on today is not promised for tomorrow, though a change that would delete existing lists will not be shipped deliberately.
Price and purchases
Whatever the store listing says at the time you install it. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription. Refunds go through Apple or Google under their own rules, since they sell the app and we do not.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is not promised to be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing here limits the consumer rights your local law gives you, and where that law grants a guarantee this clause cannot exclude, that guarantee stands.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, [Publisher] is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or a routine that did not get done. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the app.
App Store and Google Play
These terms are between you and [Publisher], not with Apple or Google. Those companies have no obligation to support the app or to handle a claim about it, and they are not responsible for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. The store's own terms apply to your download alongside these.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains what the app stores, which is everything on your device and nothing anywhere else.
Ending the licence
Delete the app and the licence ends. It also ends if you break these terms. The clauses on liability, warranty and ownership survive.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of [Country], and disputes go to the courts of [Courts]. If you use the app as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law where you live.
Changes to these terms
A new version is published on this page with a new date at the top. Carrying on with the app after that means accepting it.
